Khulen Mountain -Day 4
On Thursday morning we set out for Khulen Mountain at 7:30am. We all piled into a bus and traveled for an hour and a half on a windy singled lane road, although not many cars understood this concept as many overtook our bus without a second thought. We had a tour guide who took us to see a thermal pool that somehow was crystal clear. From there we hiked down to the village before facing the terrors of the sleep downward stairs that led to the waterfall, but we realised it was all worth it as soon as we spotted the magnificent, jaw dropping waterfall. We quickly jumped into the very cool waters and spent time enjoying the relaxing swim, with the boys and some girls braving the rapid downpour to climb up the rock face behind the waterfalls. From this advantage point amazing caves were found and explored with some attempts at capturing beautiful photos. We all reluctant to leave the breathtaking falls, but after a few hours of swimming we climbed back up the dreadfull stairs to sit in little beach huts to have lunch. After lunch we piled back into the bus and travelled back to the hotel, with many falling asleep during the trip. When we arrived back to the hotel we enjoyed a quiet tea before having an early night, with everyone worn out from the day.
